Graphics: 2/10
Since this game was made a very long time ago, the graphics aren't so good, and are in 2D instead of 3D. Mario looks even better when he's made of paper. Better yet, the person doesn't really even look like any version of Mario. The background is only a solid black, which is way too plain.

Music: 1/10
The sound is the same thing that repeats like a broken record almost forever! There are few other sound effects, which aren't very good. When you pick up a hammer, there should have been real hammer sounds instead of some wierd music.

Price: 4/10
The price usually depends on the place, but I would say that the value is ok for how old this game is. If this game costs more than a quarter or 50 cents, I probably wouldn't even bother to play the game.

Gameplay: 4/10
This game can be addicting, but it this is boring all together! The objective for pretty much each level is the same. There is no extra mode or challenge. It would be nice if any of the levels looked different instead of being all the same.

Overall: 2/10
I would say that this game sucks! Mario doesn't even have a name and Peach is called Pauline (bad choice by the producers). I am very good at video games, but it took me forever just to learn how to beat a level. The objective is also very stupid. Rescuing a princess from a giant ape is stupid enough.
