Hiro arrives on his motorcycle to where Shuichi is a little late, and Shuichi
has a look of love on his face. Hiro eventually figures out that Shuichi had
some fun with Yuki and everything went well. Then both of them get on Hiro's
motorcycle. Shuichi thinks being gay is wrong, but then Hiro tells him that you
should love someone if you really love them, ignoring what gender they are.
Shuichi becomes too happy, stands up in a tunnel, ignoring that there was a sign
in front of him, and he smacks into it. When the two of them arrive at the
recording studio, Sakano is sulking because he thinks he is a failure. Tohma
wanted them in his office. He thought Sakano was an amazing producer and a
horrible manager, so Tohma fired him from being a manager so he can focus on his
producing skills (and then Sakano fainted and went to the bathroom to splash
cold water on his face). As for Hiro and Shuichi, Tohma showed them a video of
their previous performance saying that there was a flaw. Shuichi thought their
band was fine, and then Tohma said it is bad to be overconfident, and he said
all good bands should always find their flaws. The problem was that Bad Luck
didn't have enough members, so Tohma hired another one: Sugaru Fujisaki. Shuichi
tries watching the video of the performance again. Hiro saw what was wrong and
called Shuichi an idiot because he couldn't accept the fact that they need
another member. Hiro agreed with Tohma and Shuichi strongly disagreed. Hiro said
he was disappointed in Shuichi and vice versa. Then Shuichi slapped Hiro and the
two of them got into a fist fight. They were then fighting by where Sakano went
to the bathroom. Sakano got out of the bathroom, saw Shuichi had put on a banana
suit, and he fainted again. Hiro comforted Sakano and Shuichi ran outside and
started crying because he thought he couldn't work with Hiro because he thinks
he is a jerk. Shuichi played dead (and was of course still crying) and then
Ryuichi said he was a dead man on the beat and K corrected him and said he was a
dead man on the street. Both of them saw Shuichi crying and Ryuichi started
comforting him. First, he told Shuichi that whenever he is sad, he talks to his
"Mr. Bear" and gave him to Shuichi. Shuichi thanked him and then started crying
some more. Ryuichi offered him some more items, such as some lollypops and his
first yoyo (and some more items too). Shuichi said how Bad Luck was only
supposed to be for the two of them. Then Ryuichi started telling him to go solo
(Shuichi would probably never do that) and he told him how much fun he had
singing on stage with him. Shuichi felt better after Ryuichi gave him a giant
green bottle with some type of drink. Shuichi screamed his new feelings out,
people applauded, and Shuichi darted off. He then bumped into a young boy (after
tripping on a banana peel), and made him drop his folder. It was Sugaru
Fujisaki, a 16 year-old boy who "claimed" to be a new member of Bad Luck who was
going to play the synthesizer and keyboard for the band. After Shuichi met up
with Sugaru, he went to Yuki's house and started complaining about how he
doesn't want another member in his band, and about how Hiro is "showing his
devious side". Yuki says that the previous night's kiss was just a one time
thing and he thought he was cute for the one day, and then kicked him out of his
house. The next day, Bad Luck went back to the recording studio to rehearse
again. Sugaru wanted Shuichi to give him a chance (and he did). So Hiro and
Sugaru began playing the new arrangement (instrumentals) for the song that Hiro
and Shuichi played at the concert. Tohma said to Sakano that he is a much better
producer than he is a manager and that the new manager would be arriving
shortly. Ryuichi attracted people into the studio and they began watching Sugaru
and Hiro play the new arrangement. When they were done, Sugaru came into the
room Shuichi was in and said he would arrange it differently when the vocals
come into play. Shuichi became angry again and ran into the men's bathroom.
Shuichi pulled out all of the toilet paper and was thinking (talking to himself)
about what had happened last night at Yuki's place, and about how mad he was
about Sugaru joining the band. Hiro was waiting outside and listening to
everything Shuichi was saying when he was talking to himself. Yuki was at his
house typing on his laptop (and of course smoking a cigarette) and noticed the
empty chair, and he decided to go outside. He heard/saw Shuichi on the bench
outside of his house talking to himself (and putting himself down). Yuki comes
outside by the bench and says how Tohma will fire every band he loses faith in.
Therefore, Yuki tells Shuichi that he should trust his new band mate (Sugaru)
and his new manager. Also, he said that he should thank Hiro for everything he
has done for Shuichi. Hiro then shows up at Yuki's door. Yuki thinks Hiro showed
up because he wants to take Shuichi back (and have romance, even though they are
like best friends to each other). Yuki says "don't take my Shuichi!" Hiro
wanted to ask Yuki a favor, for him to take good care of Yuki and if he ever
tries to hurt Shuichi, he will come back (and hurt him). Shuichi and Yuki go
into Yuki's house and begin watching a concert of Ryuichi (his idol). Shuichi is
jealous of their band. Yuki calls Shuichi a moron (and tells him that he is
cute) and kisses him. Yuki has another expression of love on his face. The next
day in the studio, Shuichi puts his arm around Hiro and Sugaru and goes up to
Tohma and says that they will be as close as brothers. Tohma is happy for them.
Then Tohma says that Sugaru is his cousin, and Hiro and Sakano fall to the
ground because they are shocked to hear that. Will everything else go ok with
Bad Luck?
